The Prototyping Unit within the KUHNKE group is based upon a fully equipped workshop for prototype building and testing. The machines availabel for these tasks include a laser cutting system, conventional drilling machines, lathes and CNC-milling machines. The complete system is connected via a DNC network to provide efficient work processes. This allows the Prototyping Unit to produce fully functional parts already at the early stages of the product design process.
In this way, the Prototyping Unit is able to support all product design and engineering units of the KUHNKE group with flexible, fast and cost effective processes to provide detailled solutions as well as prototypes at close-to-production standards.
